Notice – Information session for the Haitian community in Gatineau: Thursday, February 18, 2010

February 17, 2010 — Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) is participating in an information session for the Haitian community in the Outaouais in order to provide people with information on the special immigration measures put in place by the federal government and how they can sponsor members of their immediate family who were directly and seriously affected by the earthquake in Haiti.

The information session is open to the public and is aimed at people in Canada who want to apply to sponsor their spouses, common-law and conjugal partners, dependent children (including children adopted abroad), parents and grandparents, and orphaned family members (brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and grandchildren under 18 years) who are in Haiti.
