If you live in rural British Columbia, you could get a repayable loan of up to $150,000 to start or grow a small business. You need to:

• Have a viable business idea
• Create a business plan
• Invest some of your money in the project, in most cases

Other conditions apply.

For the Self-Employment Program, you need to be receiving Employment Insurance or to have received it within the last few years.
