You could be eligible for funding of up to 50% of the start-up costs for projects that make use of waste materials diverted from landfills.

Eligible projects include:

• A prototype, pilot or demonstration of new technology for the collection, diversion, processing, manufacturing and distribution of diverted waste materials
• Commercialization of new technology, products or services for diverted waste materials

You must confirm 20% equity in the project, and pay a $200 processing fee when applying.
