Research and Development Program (waste diversion)

If you are developing a new landfill waste diversion project you may be eligible for a non-repayable or conditionally repayable contribution of up to 50% of the total project cost, up to an average of $50,0000 and sometimes more.

Eligible projects include:

• Products that include solid waste
• Technologies for separating and recovering solid waste
• Enhanced market opportunities for solid waste and/or recycled materials

You must include a non-refundable $200 processing fee with your application.
