Domestic Dairy Product Innovation Program
You could get a higher milk quota to develop and produce innovative dairy products. You need to create a product that:
- Is wholly or essentially made with milk
- Is new to the Canadian market
- Creates a demand for Canadian milk or reduces the import of dairy products
Other conditions apply.
You must be a licensed processor or have applied for a licence to the provincial authorities. You could get this special milk allocation for up to three years.
