RCMP Launches Youth Engagement Initiative - Canadian Champions / Choose the winning path
The RCMP Drugs and Organized Crime Awareness Service (DOCAS) launched a national youth engagement initiative called "Canadian Champions". Promoting the theme "Choose the winning path", this initiative aims at engaging young Canadians in building a drug-free future.
National Anti-Drug Strategy Action Plans
The National Anti-Drug Strategy focuses on prevention and access to treatment for those with drug dependencies, while at the same time getting tough on drug dealers and producers who threaten the safety of our youth and communities. It is made up of three action plans:
- The Prevention Action Plan which aims to prevent illicit drug use;
- The Treatment Action Plan which aims to treat those with drug dependencies; and
- The Enforcement Action Plan which aims to combat the production and distribution of illicit drugs.
