Opened in 2011, the Maaqtusiis Secondary School is located in the community of the Ahousaht First Nation on Flores Island in B.C. The school serves students in grades 8 to 12.

The community received $9 million through Canada's Economic Action Plan and $3.8 million through AANDC's Capital Facilities and Maintenance Program for the construction of the new school.
