Opened in 2011, the Outma Sqilx'w Cultural School at the Penticton Indian Band in B.C. is architecturally stunning, with state-of-the-art technology that balances the past with the present.

$7.2 million in funding was provided through Canada's Economic Action Plan for the construction of the new school. The Penticton Indian Band also contributed $520,000 for an expanded gymnasium and a commercial kitchen.
