About Us
Publishing and Depository Services (PDS) is part of the Integrated Services Branch of Public Works and Government Services Canada. PDS is one of the directorates forming the Government Information Services (GIS) Sector. GIS Sector services promote integrated and effective government communications by providing Canadians information about:
- publications produced through or by the Government of Canada
- laws, regulations and notices affecting their lives, published in the Canada Gazette
- Government of Canada advertising and public opinion research.
PDS publishes and distributes an extensive variety of Government of Canada publications. These publications are distributed to Canadians, federal departments and agencies, the private sector, and other levels of government.
Our mission is to ensure that Canadians have easy, ready, and equal access to federal government publications in all formats.
