Inuvik's Children First Centre - Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund (CIIF)
Inuvik’s Children First Centre project is partially funded by the CIIF under Canada’s Economic Action Plan, improving community infrastructure in the North and across Canada.
Under Canada’s Economic Action Plan, the CIIF creates both long-and short-term jobs while building safer and more prosperous communities in the North. Inuvik’s new Children First Centre will help strengthen and enrich the lives of children and families in the community for generations to come thanks in part to CIIF funding.
By rehabilitating and improving community infrastructure, the CIIF helps to strengthen and enrich the lives of children and families in Northern communities and in communities across Canada.
The CIIF is helping communities across the North. It has helped build Inuvik’s early childhood care centre that will: increase capacity for, facilitate access to, and integrate existing program delivery of early child education and care that meets the needs of Inuvik.
The CIIF promotes the social and economic development of communities. Not only does it fund projects that create both short-term and long-term jobs, but it also supports community infrastructure, such as Inuvik’s Children First Centre.
The CIIF helps to fund projects such as Inuvik’s Children First Centre. Projects like this create jobs, improve community infrastructure and help ensure prosperity for Canadian families and communities.
The CIIF is helping to modernize community infrastructure and provide economic benefits across the North. Inuvik’s Children First Centre project is an example of how this funding helps create employment for those in the skilled trades; it also ensures long-term job creation.
