ArcticNet’s 9th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM2013) will be held from 9 to 13 December 2013 at The World Trade and Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

As the largest annual Arctic research gathering held in Canada, ArcticNet’s ASM is the ideal venue to showcase results from all fields of Arctic research and stimulate networking and partnership activities.

Building on the success of previous ASMs, the ASM2013 welcomes the participation of researchers, students, policy and decision makers, representatives of government and non-government organizations, the private sector, northern stakeholders and media to address the global challenges and opportunities arising from climate change and modernization in the Arctic.

The ASM2013 will be hosting the second annual Arctic Inspiration Prize Ceremony, where one to five Prizes and associated awards totalling $1 million will be presented.

Highlights

ArcticNet is proud to host the 2013 Arctic Inspiration Prize Awards Ceremony in conjunction with it's Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM2013). The ceremony will be held on the evening of Thursday 12 December at the World Trade and Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Nominations for the Prize will be accepted until 2 September 2013.
