National Seniors Council explores adverse effects of social isolation
Members of the National Seniors Council (NSC) met today in Toronto with seniors’ organizations, service and health providers, as well as researchers and practitioners from across Ontario, for the first of a series of cross-Canada round tables assessing how social isolation affects seniors and how best to tackle the issue in Canada.
