A terrifying scenario could of become even worse after one oblivious toddler wandered into the middle of an armed robbery.
This security footage captures the tense moments of an armed robbery that took place in a Brazilian pharmacy located in city of Goiania, reports The Mirror.
The grainy footage shows a lone gunman entering the pharmacy and pulling out his firearm, ordering both staff and concerned customers to the ground.
Already an extremely tense situation, things in an instant go from bad to worse when a small toddler suddenly enters the frame. Apparently the young child saw the open doorway of the store and decided to investigate, coming within mere feet of the armed assailant.
The robber at first simply ignores the new development, perhaps concerned more with his task at hand, but becomes seemingly more agitated after noticing the mother enter the store to look for her child as well.
The footage thankfully ends with nobody being hurt, and instead the mother and child are only ordered into the corner of the store as the robber flees from the scene.
No arrests have been made yet in connection to the robbery, and local police are reportedly still investigating the incident.
