About:
The QEII Simulation Program facilitates simulation education via three facilities at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. Simulation and interprofessional learning are gold standards in healthcare education, essential to highly skilled providers and safe, quality healthcare.
With the creation of the simulation program, the Nova Scotia Health Authority consolidated the administration of the simulation sites, including governance, human resources and policies and procedures.

Mission:
To operate as an integrated simulation-based learning program that is learner-driven and innovative, and is based on best practice learning experiences delivered to a variety of disciplines and interprofessional healthcare providers.

Vision:
To be Nova Scotia’s leader in high fidelity simulation and surgical skills education.
