The Cardiosciences Program offers an integrated and client-centered approach to cardiac services.

The program provides specialized services in the study, diagnosis, and treatment of heart conditions. Patients are referred to the program for various conditions including heart disease, irregular heart beat, heart attack, congestive heart failure (CHF), or heart birth defects.

Cardio-Neuro Diagnostic Services

Cardio-Neuro Diagnostic Services provide diagnostic testing to clients of the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region.

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Pacemaker Clinic

Cardiac catheterization is used in the diagnosis of heart disorders and other abnormalities.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

The Cardiac Rehabilitation Program provides an outpatient program of education and exercise for individuals and their families who are learning to live with heart disease.

The Pacemaker

The pacemaker is a treatment for dangerously slow heart beats or conduction defects.

Inpatient Nursing Units

There are three inpatient and one outpatient nursing units in the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region which provide medical and surgical care for cardiac clients.

Public Access Defibrillation

The Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region's Public Access Defibrillation (PAD) Program is a community program aimed at helping provide community based on-site protection in cases of Sudden Cardiac Arrest.

Electrophysiology Lab
