The services offered by Surgical Care Services include: Bariatric Surgery, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Gynecology Surgery, Cardiovascular/Thoracic Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology Surgery, Plastic/Reconstructive Surgery, ENT Surgery, Pediatric General Surgery and Urological Surgery.

Services associated with surgery include: Pre-Admission/Day of Admission Clinics, Day Surgery Units, Inpatient Surgical Units, Post Anesthetic Care Units (PACU), Operating Rooms and Burn Unit. Burn Unit

The Firefighters Burn Unit is attached to a 30-bed surgical unit at the Regina General Hospital.

Organ and Tissue Donation

The Saskatchewan Transplant Program was established in 1989 to facilitate organ and tissue donation and transplantation for Saskatchewan residents.
