The Beaches on the UNESCO list

| September 14, 2017

Today, at the Juno Beach Centre, the Normandy Region organized the founding general assembly of the association for the governance of the “Landing beaches” as part of the project to have the D-Day beaches added on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites. A very large number of elected representatives, institutions and actors of tourism then attended an event on the Beach: the capture by a drone of a souvenir photo of the event in the presence of pupils from the Gilbert Boulanger school of Courseulles-sur-Mer.
A day in the wind in every sense of the word!
