Redirection to a new address

If your customers move within Canada, they'll still get your mail—we redirect it if they have purchased our Mail Forwarding service (domestic Lettermail only).

Return to Sender

If mail is undeliverable, we return your item at no charge if it has a Canadian return address on the outside of the envelope.

Registered Mail for proof of delivery (domestic)

Get proof of the delivery date and a signature that can be viewed online from the person receiving your letter. For an additional charge, you can request a hard-copy.

Registered Mail — International and U.S.

For international destinations, you’ll need to buy an Advice of Receipt card at the time you mail your letter. It provides proof of purchase and a hard copy signature. Get proof of delivery to the U.S. by using Xpresspost™ — USA service.

Do Not Forward service

Get mail items returned to you instead of sent on when an addressee has moved and filed a Mail Forwarding request with Canada Post (domestic Lettermail only).

Volume incentives for businesses

Pricing

Individuals

Buy domestic single stamps for a dollar and stamp booklets, coils and sheets of 10 or more for 0.85¢. (See full details for domestic Lettermail rates.)

Stamps for regular letters (up to 30 g) to the U.S. cost $1.20. A regular international letter (up to 30 g) requires $2.50 postage. (See full details for U.S. and international Letter-post rates.)

Commercial customers enjoy 12% to 25% discounts by using a postage meter or indicia.

Incentive Lettermail (domestic)

If your business is mailing 1000 pieces or more, choose machineable Incentive Lettermail to pay only $0.76 for national Lettermail that qualify for incentive prices.

Incentive Letter-post (U.S. and international)

If your business consistently mails 100 pieces or more to the U.S. or an international destination, contact your customer services representative or call 1-866-757-5480 to discuss incentive rates. (Customized indicia is not available for Incentive Letter-post.)
