At the bottom of the scroll-shaped souvenir sheet is this year’s international-rate stamp, featuring a closely-cropped profile of a rooster created out of wavy gold lines that extend beyond the stamp’s bottom border. Above it is a stylized version of the rooster image from this year’s domestic stamp. In the upper right corner is the Chinese character ji, meaning rooster.

The Year of the Rooster begins on January 28, 2017 and runs until February 15, 2018.
