New Judge Appointed to the Ontario Court Of Justice

The Honourable Caroline Mulroney, Attorney General for Ontario, has announced the appointment of a new judge to the Ontario Court of Justice, effective September 12, 2018.

Justice Susan Maria Sullivan was called to the bar in 1999. Since 2004, she has been a sole practitioner specializing in family law with an emphasis on child welfare. Prior to this, Justice Sullivan worked as legal counsel for the Catholic Children's Aid Society of Hamilton. She has also served as a member of the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee panel of lawyers. An avid volunteer in her community, Justice Sullivan has worked with various organizations in different capacities. Most recently, she donated her time as a member of the Child Protection Subcommittee of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Family Court Hamilton which discusses and resolves issues pertaining to the conduct of child protection matters.

Chief Justice Lise Maisonneuve has assigned Justice Sullivan to preside in Milton.
