Jon Hountalas
Senior Executive Vice-President and Group Head, Commercial Banking and Wealth Management, Canada
Jon Hountalas leads our Commercial Banking and Wealth Management teams in Canada which are focused on meeting the needs of business, high net worth and institutional clients. This includes CIBC Wood Gundy, CIBC Private Wealth Management, and CIBC Asset Management.
Mr. Hountalas joined CIBC in 2010 as Executive Vice-President of Business Banking and added responsibility for Corporate Banking in 2015. He has over 25 years of experience with HSBC Bank Canada in various client-facing and executive roles prior to joining CIBC.
Mr. Hountalas is a Board Director with the Loran Scholars Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and MBA from McGill University.
