The Kluane First Nation (KFN) provides services to its membership through its health and social department, as well as education, economic development, lands, culture, resources, and capital projects programs. The Kluane First Nation also provides housing and municipal services to its membership.
Community and Government Services
A library, a bank (open two days per week), a restaurant, a hotel, post office, and more provide the community members of Burwash Landing. At present, a food store does not exist in Burwash Landing; local community members travel to Whitehorse or Tok, Alaska for basic supplies.
Many community members secure a significant portion of their food supply from hunting, fishing and trapping.
