Primary Education
Tantalus School provides education for approximately 112 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Post-Secondary
Yukon College provides upgrading, GED, computer training and various occupation-related courses, as well as nightly internet access. 

Residents of Carmacks can apply to Yukon College for Post-Secondary degree programs at the main campus in Whitehorse, Yukon.

Library Services
The Carmacks Community Library is located in Tantalus School in a joint school - public library with free public Internet and computer access.
