AIRS Registration

Automated Import Reference System (AIRS) Registration must be submitted in the commodity details section of the declaration as per the rules in the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Electronic Commerce Client Requirements Document (ECCRD), the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) appendix, and AIRS.

Materialized LPCO

Materialized LPCO AIRS Registration Types are identified as a materialized Licence, Permit, Certificate, and Other document(s) (LPCO) must be submitted with a document attachment. This must be submitted in the LPCO section of an Integrated Import Declaration (IID) as per the rules in the CBSA ECCRD, Document Image Functionality (DIF) Requirements Document, CFIA Appendix and AIRS.

De-materialized LPCO

AIRS Registration Types are identified as a de-materialized LPCO must be submitted without a document attachment. This must be submitted in the LPCO section of an IID declaration as per the rules in the CBSA ECCRD, DIF Requirements Document, and the CFIA Appendix.

Format Definition
A The value entered in the registration number field must be in Alphanumeric format, letters or numbers or a combination of both may be used.
N The value entered in the registration number field must be in Numeric format only.
C The value entered in The registration number field must be a confirmation indicated by a Y.
