Thanks to our donors' generosity we develop essential plasma medicines to treat chronic, rare and, at times, life-threatening conditions. We also provide diagnostic solutions, instruments, and services for blood banks, donation centers, hospitals, and pharmacies.

We trace our roots back to 1909 when Dr. Josep Antoni Grifols i Roig founded the laboratory Instituto Central de Análisis Clínicos, Bacteriológicos y Químicos in Barcelona.

Our business is organized into four divisions: Bioscience, Diagnostic, Hospital, and Bio Supplies.
