Family law services provided by legal aid offices
Review of a family court judgment
Legal aid offices can help parents who have separated obtain a review of a family court judgment, at an affordable cost, via the homologation assistance service (Service d'aide à l’homologation, or SAH).
Recalculation of child support payments
Legal aid offices also offer an affordable, on-line service for the recalculation of child support payments in simple cases in which a parent’s income has changed, without involving the courts, via the Child Support Recalculation Service (Service administratif de rajustement des pensions alimentaires pour enfants, or SARPA).
The services are available to all parents, whether or not they are eligible for legal aid.
