Making an appoitnment with the clerk

You have to make an appointment for the clerk to check your application.

Your form will be stored in our system for 45 days after it is received.

If you have not made an appointment during this period, your form will be deleted and you will have to start the process from the beginning. You should contact us immediately to make an appointment at a time that is convenient for you.

To prepare for this telephone conversation, which lasts around 20 to 25 minutes, you will need a copy of your application along with all the supporting documents you listed. It is also a good idea to make a note of the information the clerk provides during the conversation.

To obtain assistance from the clerk, you have two options.

  1. To meet with the clerk in person, you must make an appointment by calling the courthouse where your case will be heard.
