Take the 2016 Transportation Tomorrow Survey

If you receive an invitation letter in the mail in Fall 2016, you and members of your household (over the age of 11) are encouraged to participate in the Transportation Tomorrow Survey, the largest survey of its kind in Canada. Your household's participation in this survey is critical to the project's success. The Transportation Tomorrow Survey is an important tool to support planning for transportation infrastructure and services in your community and across central Ontario.

You can participate by:

  • calling 1-855-688-1133
  • visiting TTS2016.ca and taking the survey online using your access code provided in the letter

Your responses are anonymous and will be kept confidential. They are combined with others in your area and used to identify travel patterns. If you have any questions, please call the Ministry of Transportation at 1-800-268-4686, or visit our web site at TTS2016.ca.

The Transportation Tomorrow Survey (TTS) is used to:

  • tell us how, why, and where randomly selected residents of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Greater Golden Horseshoe (GGH) area of Ontario use transportation daily
  • help governments and transit agencies plan for future transportation needs in your community

The 2016 Transportation Tomorrow Survey is funded by 22 government organizations including the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO), Metrolinx/GO Transit, the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), and 19 municipalities across the Greater Toronto and Greater Golden Horseshoe area. R.A. Malatest & Associates is conducting the 2016 survey, in cooperation with the University of Toronto’s Data Management Group, on behalf the funding partners.
