To help ensure the health and safety of clients and staff, we are asking that clients do not visit Ontario Works or ODSP local offices at this time.

Please:

  • Stay at home
  • Call your caseworker for information
  • Sign up for MyBenefits
  • Call your caseworker to ask about receiving payments electronically through direct bank deposit

If you are told you must visit us, remember the following to help ensure everyone’s safety:

  • Wear a mask
  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water
  • Do your best to keep at least 2 metres (6 feet) away from others
  • Cough or sneeze into your sleeve or a tissue, washing your hands after you do
  • Please delay your visit if you are unwell, you have been diagnosed with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), or you have travelled outside Canada in the last 14 days

We're improving service for social assistance recipients in Ontario.

  • MyBenefits is a new online service that makes it faster, easier and more convenient for people on social assistance to securely access case information anytime, anywhere on any device
  • Making it easier to access ODSP dental benefits
  • Direct bank deposit is a safe and easy way to receive social assistance payments. Instead of receiving a cheque, the money you are eligible to receive will be deposited directly into your bank account each month. Call your caseworker to enrol.
