Tuition Fee Framework and Ancillary Fee Guidelines, Publicly-Assisted Universities

The Tuition Fee Framework and Ancillary Fee Guidelines are intended to give direction to publicly-assisted university-level institutions on how to implement the 10% Tuition Fee reduction in 2019-20 and the Tuition Fee freeze in 2020-21, as set by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities. These guidelines will be in effect for the

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program that can help pay for college or university.
  • OSAP Default Rates and Repayment Assistance Rates
    The ministry collects and publishes indicators by institution and program for Canada-Ontario Integrated Student Loan (COISL) recipients. OSAP loan repayment results help students assess the financial risk and learn about prior student loan borrower outcomes.
  • OSAP and Performance Requirements for Private Postsecondary Institutions
    Private postsecondary institutions that offer programs in Ontario must meet specific performance requirements in order for their students to be eligible to receive financial aid through the Ontario Student Assistance Program. Colleges of applied arts and technology (CAAT)

Workplace insurance for postecondary students

Published College Program Standards

Where they exist, program standards apply to all similar programs of instruction offered by publicly-funded colleges across the province. Individual colleges also determine whether additional learning outcomes will be required to reflect specific local needs and/or interests.
