The Government of Ontario believes in listening and responding to the concerns of the people of this province. In this section of the website, you will find details about how you can provide your input on a variety of issues involving the Ministry of Finance.

Public consultations are one way of obtaining the opinion of the people of Ontario. Consultations are frequently initiated by the Ministry when updating existing tax policies or drafting new initiatives. In addition to consulting on specific policy areas, the Ministry organizes annual pre-Budget consultations throughout the province. Stakeholders are invited to attend to provide input to the Minister in preparation for the provincial Budget.
