Supporting young people in the Northwest Territories

First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples make up over 50% of the population in the Northwest Territories. Through Finding Hope: Kids Help Phone’s Action Plan for Supporting First Nations, Inuit and Métis Young People, we’re affirming our commitment to Indigenous youth in the Northwest Territories, Inuvialuit and across the country.

Where are young people contacting Kids Help Phone from? What issues are they reaching out about? How are they feeling after their conversation? Discover the latest data about the support we offer youth in the Northwest Territories with Kids Help Phone Insights.

The Northwest Territories is also home to many of our volunteer crisis responders and remote counsellors. We’re working within the Northwest Territories to raise awareness among youth and engage the community to support and partner in our mission. But young people need you to help ensure they always have a safe place to turn in any moment of crisis or need.

We’re working together with our donors, volunteers, corporate sponsors, community leaders and more to ensure we can continue to show up for youth from coast to coast to coast.
