Our service centres are a one-stop-shop for all your employment needs to assist you in finding meaningful employment or the right employee.

Youth Services

We provide access to the employment and life skills necessary for youth to achieve long-term employment, meaningful careers and a successful future.

What are Employment Services' hours of operation?

Achēv Employment Services are open to the public from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm daily with the exception of statutory holidays. Please contact us if you require assistance outside of these hours.

Is there a cost associated with Achēv's employer services?

No, as a not-for-profit, community-based organization, we offer employment programs and services at NO cost.

How do I know which program is best for me?

Program information can be found on our website. Make sure to check out the eligibility criteria to ensure you are a match. If you are still unsure, contact us and we can help find the program that best suits your needs.

How old do I have to be to participate in the programs?

Age requirements vary by program, however, most of our youth programs assist youth between the ages of 15 and 30. Check specific program details to learn more about eligibility requirements.

Can I learn from home?

During your language assessment, ask if you are eligible for a home study program. Our team will be happy to help you learn from your own home.

How do I book a language assessment?

Call us at (905) 949-0049, ext 1369. Or email us at lac@achev.ca. We will explain the details and book your appointment at a location and date that works best for you.

Who is eligible to use Achēv's Newcomer Information Centres' services?

Achēv’s Newcomer Information Centres are funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to provide services to permanent residents, convention refugees and prospective immigrants. Refugee claimants can receive basic information and are provided with referrals based on their eligibility. For more information, please contact us.

Are Achēv's Newcomer Information Centres' services free?

All of our services are FREE of cost and available to eligible clients.
