Sexual health clinics are staffed by physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners to offer free and confidential clinical services.
Services
May vary by location:
- birth control counselling
- free confidential sexually transmitted infections (STI) testing and treatment
- anonymous HIV testing and HIV/AIDS Programs
- immunizations for hepatitis A and B and HPV vaccine
- pap testing
- urine pregnancy testing
- low-cost birth control
- needle exchange programs
When to use this option
- you require confidential counselling or need help with sexual health issues
- you require diagnosis and treatment of STIs
- you do not have Ontario health insurance
Locations
Sexual health clinics may be found in:
- Public Health Units
- Community Health Centres
- stand-alone clinics in the community
- on many college and university campuses
Referrals
You don’t need a referral. Some sexual health clinics serve only specific populations. Please review the clinic service profile or contact the clinic for more information.

Fees
This service is free and confidential. A health card is not required.
