Overview

Sexual health clinics are staffed by physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners to offer free and confidential clinical services.

Services

May vary by location:

  • birth control counselling
  • free confidential sexually transmitted infections (STI) testing and treatment
  • anonymous HIV testing and HIV/AIDS Programs
  • immunizations for hepatitis A and B and HPV vaccine
  • pap testing
  • urine pregnancy testing
  • low-cost birth control
  • needle exchange programs

When to use this option

  • you require confidential counselling or need help with sexual health issues
  • you require diagnosis and treatment of STIs
  • you do not have Ontario health insurance
