The Legislative Library assigns ISBNs (International Standard Book Numbers) and ISSNs (International Standard Serial Numbers) to Ontario government publications on behalf of Library and Archives Canada. These numbers are used to quickly and efficiently identify, order, distribute and retrieve publications.
