When is the registration deadline?

Registration for each workshop is accepted up until 3 business days prior to the start date. Please note any registration forms received after the cut off are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Who is eligible?

Participants who are members of the Ontario College of Teachers, as well as teacher candidates who are currently enrolled in a Teacher’s College program and will be certified to teach in Ontario are eligible to register. Participants must currently teach or expect to be teaching in a subject area related to citizenship, civics, social studies or history.

I’m a new teacher - can I participate?

Yes, both experienced and new teachers are encouraged to register.

I teach in a province other than Ontario. Can I apply?

The workshops are only available to educators currently teaching in Ontario.

Do I have to register for every session?

No. Teachers can register for all sessions or one in particular. Please ensure you indicate carefully on your application which sessions you are interested in participating in.

Is the program offered in French?

Workshops will take place in English, however, depending on the number of requests for French workshops, alternate sessions may be arranged. All of our shared resources will be available in both languages.

What online platform is used for these workshops?

All sessions take place over Microsoft Teams.
