Collective agreement data is at your fingertips with our fully customizable reports, allowing you to tailor the information that you need in real-time. Many of the charts in each report allow you to drill down into more detail. You can also access the collective agreements related to the data that you're reviewing. You can also export charts as well as the raw underlying data.
All interactive reports on this page conform to the specifications as outlined in Ontario's Open Data Directive.
To view any of our reports on a mobile device, you must install the SAS Visual Analytics App and subscribe to the report. Details to install SAS Visual Analytics App and subscribe to a report can be found here.
The SAS Visual Analytics App allows users to view and interact with reports on Android and Apple devices as well as PCs and tablets running Windows 10. The app supports all charts and graphs available in the standard Web view.
Follow the steps below to get started with using SAS Visual Analytics App with Interactive Analytics:
Navigate to the Security settings on your Android device (e.g. Settings → Security, Settings → Advanced Settings → Security) and select "Install from device storage" (It may be named something else such as "Install from SD card").
Locate the downloaded files from step 1 and install them. The certificate name can be the same as the file name.
2) Connect to Collective Bargaining Ontario's Interactive Analytics server:

Tap the Secure Connection switch (Port should change to 443)
Users with visual disabilities can explore and interact with the reports through an alternative way of presenting data using SAS Graphics Accelerator and screen reader software.
The SAS Graphics Accelerator provides enhanced visual rendering of data, text descriptions, tabular data and interactive sonification. The SAS Graphics Accelerator is only available as a Google Chrome extension.
All data is preliminary and comes from information reported to the Ministry of Labour. The settlements reviewed may not be exhaustive if settlements have not been filed with the Ministry.
Unless otherwise specified, all collective agreement information is based on the year in which the agreement was ratified or when an arbitration award was issued/dated.
Unless otherwise specified, all wage information is based on settlements covering 150 or more employees, with the exception of central settlements in the education sector (as of September 2015).
Unless otherwise specified, all percentage wage data are calculated on the base rate and weighted by number of employees. The wage data also includes cost-of-living adjustments where applicable, calculated at projected rates of inflation. Average annual wage increases for settlements exclude lump sum/bonus payments. The increases do not necessarily reflect the average increase for each member of the bargaining unit.
Unless otherwise specified, the industry data used for all reports is based on the North American Industry Classification System and have been organized under the following industries:
Construction: Activities in constructing, altering, decorating, repairing or demolishing buildings, structures, roads, sewers, water or gas mains, pipe lines, tunnels, bridges, canals, or other works at the site. Includes a collection of provincial agreements between employer and labour in the industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) sector of the construction industry.
Health and social services: Primarily provides health care and social assistance.
Manufacturing: Includes activities associated with plants, factories, or mills that transform materials or substances into new products.
Education and related services: Provides instruction or training through schools, colleges, universities and training facilities.
Primary: Production of food sources and activities associated with extracting and refining natural resources.
Public administration: Government workplaces that engage in governmental and non-governmental activities.
Trade and finance: Includes wholesale and/or retail trade, or finance and insurance activities.
Transportation, communnications and utilities: Involved with transporting passengers and goods, and operating utilities.
Other services: Activities not included in the above sectors, such as arts and recreation, professional services, food and accommodation services, real estate, religious services, etc.
