Powering Tomorrow.

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) works at the heart of Ontario's power system. The IESO delivers key services across the electricity sector including: managing the power system in real-time, planning for the province's future energy needs, enabling conservation and designing a more efficient electricity marketplace to support sector evolution.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) update

Effective March 12, the IESO is not accepting visitors at its three facilities, located in Mississauga, Oakville and downtown Toronto. This step is being taken as a precaution to maintain regular business operations during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Where possible, meetings and events will be conducted through webinars or conference calls.

The IESO has already moved its external stakeholder engagement activities, including Regional Electricity Forums, the Stakeholder Advisory Committee, Marketplace Training and the Technical Panel, to conference calls or webinars. Registration information for these meetings has been updated on the website to reflect this change.

Thank you for your patience and co-operation. Please contact customer.relations@ieso.ca if you have any questions.
