To verify your identity, you'll need

• Social Insurance Number
• Full name and date of birth
• Your complete address
• An assessed return, notice of assessment or reassessment, other tax document, or be signed in to My Account

1. Complete Form RC325 Address change request
2. Mail the completed form to the address on the forms

Change an address for someone else by mail

You may also change the address of another individual at the same time, such as your spouse or common-law partner. Include a signed letter with your form that contains the individual's:

• name
• social insurance number
• signature

Notify the CRA of changes in any of your business addresses.

If you are contacting us on behalf of someone else

To contact the CRA on behalf of someone else, you must be an authorized representative:

• Authorize a representative for your business

By mail or fax:

Change your business address by mail or fax

Write a letter including:

• your signature
• your business name
• your business number (BN)
• your old address
• your new address
• the effective date of the change
• the CRA accounts affected by the new address change (or say if all accounts are affected)
• if you are changing more than one address related to your business, tell us which adresseses on file are affected
