Client Rights & Responsibilities

When you enter into a relationship or partnership with the Ministry of Children and Family Development, you should know what your rights and responsibilities are.

If you're not satisfied with services or actions by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, you can report a complaint.

Make a Complaint

If you have a complaint about services, actions or decisions provided by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) or a Delegated Aboriginal Agency (DAA):

  • Try to resolve the complaint with your social worker
  • If there is no resolution, call 1 877 387-7027 and ask to speak to a complaints specialist
