The information that you provide is used to contact you about updates and opportunities internal to and external from the Government of Canada to participate. The level of information that you provide will depend on the type of engagement opportunity you are interested in and that you sign up for. If you are interested in receiving updates on youth issues, future editions of the newsletter for young Canadians, and future information about applying to the Prime Minister’s Youth Council, then you only need to provide your email address. All other engagement opportunities will require sharing more information about your interests and/or the opportunities that apply to you.

This information may be shared with a third party email service provider in order to facilitate the distribution of the emails. For some opportunities, the information you share may be used to increase the relevance of the opportunities sent to you or to include specific segments for a distribution. The information is also used to compile statistics and analysis in order to help inform and improve youth engagement programs and activities across the Government of Canada.
