National Victims and Survivors of Crime week

The National Victims and Survivors of Crime week is from November 15-20, 2021. This year’s theme is Power of Collaboration.

To enhance coordination, partnerships and multi-disciplinary responses to better support victims and increase cross-sector collaborations, Nunavut Victim Services team is providing training and presentations to front-line service providers, such as the Community Justice Outreach Workers and the RCMP.

Nunavut Victim Services strive to address the gaps in continuum of services and to provide meaningful and culturally relevant support that victims can depend on throughout the criminal justice process.

The Department of Justice wants victims and survivors of crime to know that they are not alone. Victim Services is a confidential client-centered support service for victims and survivors of crime, available throughout the territory.

If you or someone you know has been a victim of crime, please contact victim services at 1-866-456-5216 or VictimServices@gov.nu.ca.
