Established in 1971, Canadian Environment Week celebrates Canada’s environmental accomplishments and encourages Canadians to contribute to conserving and protecting their environment.

From June 5 to June 11, 2022, join us on social media using #EnviroWeek to celebrate and safeguard our environment and restore our ecosystems.
Some special days include:
- June 5: United Nations World Environment Day
- June 8: Canada's Clean Air Day and United Nations World Oceans Day

This year, the United Nations theme for World Environment Day is "Only one earth". This theme advocates for environmental change on a global scale.
