If you have received an unsolicited email from NSIRA, please disregard as it is part of a large email phishing campaign using various gmail addresses. The fraudulent email includes a link for recipients to be removed from a distribution list. Do not open the link. Please ensure appropriate measures are taken to protect your system. You may also report this incident to the RCMP's Antifraud center (www.antifraudcentre-centreantifraude.ca).

Mandate

The National Security and Intelligence Review Agency (NSIRA) is an independent and external review body which reports to Parliament. The NSIRA reviews all Government of Canada national security and intelligence activities to ensure that they are lawful, reasonable and necessary. The NSIRA also hears public complaints regarding key national security agencies and activities.
