Sharing our Stories

The goal of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week is to raise awareness about the issues facing victims of crime and the services, assistance and laws in place to help victims and their families.

Below are videos, photo essays, and personal written testimonials that highlight stories from those affected by crime: victims survivors, their families, their communities, victim service providers, law enforcement, community support organizations, and various levels of government.

The views expressed in these stories are solely those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of the Department of Justice Canada.
