Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible, particularly in regions affected by heavy rainfall Friday night. Timing: Now through Tuesday morning. Discussion: Rain will arrive this evening then taper off Tuesday morning. Most areas will receive 20 to 40 mm by the time the rain tapers off Tuesday morning, although a few areas may see closer to 50 mm. As of 8 P.M. EDT, RADAR along with some unofficial reports suggest that areas north of Chatham may have already received over 30 mm of rain. For information concerning flooding, please consult your local Conservation Authority or Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry office. Visit Ontario.ca/floods for the latest details.
