2004-08-20 Issuing of Revisions to Delegation of Authorities Standard C-D-01:2003 and the Accompanying Guide C-D-01-G:2003
As of August 20, 2004, Measurement Canada has issued revisions to the Delegation of Authorities Standard C-D-01:2003, Conditions for the Delegation of Authorities for the Calibration and Certification of Standards, Measuring Apparatus and Test Equipment Pursuant to the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act, and the accompanying Guide C-D-01-G:2003.
This revised Delegation of Authorities Standard applies as of the date of issue and supersedes all other previously issued versions of C-D-01:2003 and the accompanying guide C-D-01-G:2003.
This newest revision to C-D-01:2003 and its Guide expands the scope of the delegation program and permits the recertification of electricity meter calibration consoles owned by other accredited organizations.
The revision also contains additional clarifications and corrects editorial and formatting errors, as well as aligning the quality management system requirements with the recently issued S-A-01:2002 - Criteria for the Accreditation of Organizations to Perform Inspections Pursuant to the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act and the Weights and Measures Act [revised 2004-06-07].
The revision table provides a complete list of revisions to the Standard and its Guide.
The Conditions for the Delegation of Authorities for the Calibration and Certification of Standards, Measuring Apparatus and Test Equipment Pursuant to the Electricity and Gas Inspection Act, and the accompanying Guide C-D-01-G:2003 [revision 2004-08-20] and Delegation of Authorities Guide (C-D-01-G:2003) are available electronically only; and are located on Measurement Canada's web site; and is considered to be the controlled copy.
