Call for Nominations

Targeted Call for Nominations:
Interagency Advisory Panel on Research Ethics (PRE)

Following a recent public call for nominations, the Federal Granting Agencies-- Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) -- now seek to enlarge the pool of nominations from the francophone community for the selection of new members on the Interagency Advisory Panel on Research Ethics (PRE). The Agencies are doing so by a targeted call for nominations to diversify the applicant pool and thus provide appropriate representation and expertise for PRE.

The Agencies particularly invite nominations from francophone individuals with

  • ethics experience, expertise and knowledge in the humanities and/or the social sciences
  • expertise and/or experience in the law and ethics of research involving humans

The deadline for submission of nominations is July 8, 2004.

For further details, please consult PRE's website

The Federal Granting Agencies thank you in advance for your support in ensuring that this call for nominations benefits from as broad an outreach as possible.
