Canada Savings Bonds Rates Announced
Interest rates have been set by the Department of Finance for March 1, 2006 bond issues of the Canada Savings Bond (CSB) Series 100 and the Canada Premium Bond (CPB) Series 50, which are on sale from today until March 1, 2006, inclusive.

Davide from Toronto remembers receiving a Canada Savings Bond for his tenth birthday from his Italian immigrant grandparents who hoped the investment would help him understand the great values of Canada and their own sacrifices in becoming Canadians. This year, Davide is looking forward to going back to Italy as a proud Canadian, to attend the Winter Olympics in Turin, thanks to that special gift from his grandparents many years ago.
