Altair - CAD view of the instrument

We develop instruments mainly for astronomical facilities that Canada is a partner in, such as the Canada-France-Hawaii (CFHT), James Clerk Maxwell (JCMT), Gemini, Atacama Large Millimetre Array Radio (ALMA), James Web Space (JWST), and Thirty-Metre (TMT) Telescopes. But our work can also be found on other ground-based and space-borne telescopes.

It is part of NRC's mandate to support Canadian industry, and we welcome opportunities for collaboration. If you are interested in accessing the facilities or expertise described here, please contact Lawrence Lau.
